Focusing on Pharmaceutical Business Development, Liana has almost 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry. Most of her career has been dedicated to corporate and business development as well as marketing and sales.
Following her graduation with a Masters Degree in Chemistry from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, she started her first position as a Chemist at Unikor, a biotech startup.
She later moved to Vitamed, a leading Israeli generic company, as a Sales Representative. This was followed by a move to Agis where she spent 14 years. During that time Liana held various management positions representing Pharmacia and Solvay in Israel.
As a marketing and team manager at Agis, Liana was involved with strategic development, budget planning and proactive involvement in cross organizational processes. She gained valuable experience working with experts, key opinion leaders and players in the Israeli health system. When Pharmacia was being acquired

 by Pfizer in 2003, Liana supported the sales process in cooperation with the responsible colleagues at Pfizer.

 

Today Liana is Scouting unique projects, in personal and home care categories, for major global players.

Focused on bringing its customers new qualified leads in the local and global corporate markets.

Following the acquisition Liana assumed the role of R & D Pharma Projects Manager at Agis-Perrigo, where she was responsible for generic product development throughout all stages from R&D to submission to the FDA.

In 2006 Liana Naim joined the pharmaceutical company CTS as their Business Development Projects Manager, where she was responsible during 5 years for licensing and product acquisition, corporate development, market research and initiating new projects at the plant .

In mid-2011 Liana started her own business and became an independent consultant. Her main roles are to identify collaboration projects between the academic research community and the pharmaceutical industry, as well as assist international companies to make their acquaintance with the Israeli market

Former Head of Research at the Authority for Research and Development, Hebrew University with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. Skilled in Research and Development (R&D), Budgeting, Life Sciences, and Government.

Responsibility for R & D funding system and reporting of all funders of research and development budgets of the Hebrew University, totaling about $ M180 per year. Financial Reporting variety of funding sources from Israel and abroad, including government ministries, the European Union, research foundations, companies and donors.
